After many years of passionate and dedicated service at De Haan Special Equipment BV, Commercial Director Dirk Stamhuis bids farewell to the hoisting and lifting world on 1 July 2021, to enjoy his well-deserved retirement. In 1976 Stamhuis joined the production team at what was then J.G. de Haan en Zn. BV. With this technical background and product and material knowledge, he managed to work his way up to Commercial Director of what is now known as De Haan Special Equipment. A role he has filled for 45 years. Through his years of service, Dirk Stamhuis has grown into a pioneer in the international lifting business, making major contributions to innovations and trends in the field. He now passes the baton to Jeroen Hut, who spent the past few years learning the ropes in the field and sector under Dirk’s guidance.
